Where do you rent your boat? And I thought I read somewhere that stated international license not required for most of the nations in the west
You can rent a boat without a licence. The boats rented are under a certain engine size. I think around 20hp. No licence required in Greece unless it's more than ( around 20HP or 25HP don't recall the exact size). For sailing you need a licence.
Watching this again now as I plan my trip to Greece and around 9:45 Ana says “let’s just ship our van to Europe so we can camp around Europe”. A year later and it’s so exciting that you just got there with your new van! 😊

This trip looks exhausting haha..we just did 3 months in Europe, but we condensed it to a smaller region and did more of a hub-and-spoke approach. Our home airbnb was in Madrid and we did long weekend trips from there. So much more relaxing and got to really appreciate the local life.

If you get a boat certificate, it is best to get a
RIB boat with two engines and then sail to all islands. 30 knop you can have Athens Santorini in 6-7 hours at most

Ian and Anna – This was a great video. We learned very quickly that visiting Milos would be a nice compliment to Santorini. It looks like renting a car or ATV is important. The big question is where can You rent one ? We have visited Crete, Corfu, and Monamvasia vis Cruise Ship. We though Corfu and Crete were the most beautiful.

Been there 3 times, don't miss the boat trip around the island, ask them to take you to polyegos also. Best visit at late June or early September where winds are mild and you can enjoy all the beaches of the island.
