When envisioning this cookbook, we wanted to offer our community an opportunity to share what constitutes a healthy meal. We found that our district’s definition of healthy encompasses variety and balance. The D103 community is so wonderfully diverse. With different cultures and culinary palates, this became a great opportunity to learn from each other and expand our taste buds. Thanks to everyone’s submissions, this cookbook includes everything from your typical Monday night meatloaf to your once-a-year intricate gourmet recipe. We hope you are excited to try it all!
