When Jeanie’s aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice Café in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job.

Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor’s gossip at all costs. But Jeanie’s arrival disrupts Logan’s routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.

Will Jeanie’s happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won’t fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…

The Pumpkin Spice Café is a cozy romantic novel with a grumpy x sunshine dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

If you want something that’s easy and fun, I suggest this book. I did feel it could be longer allowing more character development and possibly not rushing the whole relationship but I was able to see and visualize each page which was cool. Very cozy very fall, which I loveeee.

Cute romance! No twists and turns, only a couple 18+ sense, just a simple romantic love story ❤️ SPOILER! They end up publicly announcing they are together and then the book ends. Nothing much on what happens after rather they stay together or not.

Couldn’t finish. The concept, title, scene.. so cute, but it falls flat. Little to no character development; the third person narrative feels so impersonal compared to other romance novels, so it’s hard to buy into the FMC/MMC relationship. The thoughts of the characters don’t have a unique voice. The dialogue is bare bones. Nothing catchy or witty. Anyway, just not my thing.

Truth be told, I don’t particularly like Pumpkin Spiced anything. Drink, candle, soap, etc. I’m not a fan BUT I appreciate how integral this flavor is to the autumnal culture. And I freakin’ love autumn. So when I stumbled upon this title I had to give it a try. Then Jeanie was adorably awkward and Logan loved on a rescue alpaca named Harry Styles (those who know my love for this man know how googley eyed I went when I read the llama’s name) and I was hooked. Jeanie and Logan are perfection, add the nosey well meaning townsfolk and a little character growth and you’ve got a wonderfully dreamy autumn rom-com. And even better, there are three more books in this world of Dream Harbor… and I am certainly a Dreamer.
