Former rodeo star Wyatt Emmerson leads a quiet life. He's busy working with his dad and raising his daughter on his own. Romance is the last thing on his mind, but when McKenna St. Claire crosses his path, life takes a turn that Wyatt never saw coming.

McKenna doesn't sit still well; traveling the world has always been her favorite pastime. She's vowed to stay in Marietta for her family, but is ready to pack her bags as soon as her twin nephews are born. But a wounded cowboy and his young daughter steal her heart, making her question what she really wants in life. Will she take a risk on love and call Marietta her home?

I am so excited to see McKenna get her story finally. I can’t wait for you to read and and fall in love with McKenna and then go forward with your heart open as she meets Wyatt Emerson the rodeo cowboy and his little sprite Kaiti. Can this wounded cowboy fill the missing piece in McKenna’s heart and life. Not going to tell you why there is a missing piece but I will say I am glad Lara Van Hulzen, our author finally fills us in on why the only female sibling can’t seem to put down roots. Maybe she just needs a real good reason or two. This book is well written and it had me wanting to pack my bags and head to Montana to visit Marietta and Erie a few horses or just drink some of Sage’s chocolate.
