Flight # HY102A lot of interesting airlines land at New York’s JFK airport, but in my opinion Uzbekistan Airways is the most unusual. That’s right, Uzbekistan has a national airline and they actually have a direct flight to New York! This has been a bucket list travel experience for me for a long time, so I decided to book it a few weeks ago and it was definitely an trip to remember! Uzbekistan Airlines used to fly JFK to Riga and Riga to Tashkent. Now they have St. Petersburg Russia as a hub.

Islam Karimov..those were crazy times. Flew Uzbekistan airways out of Tashkent to London. Always getting stopped by the airport police..because I was British..

hey im uzbek if you want i can tell you some things most of the on the plane do most of the people on the plane clap when the plan lands because they made it to theyre location and mostly pray for a safe flight i used to do that when me and my family flew on uzbekistan airways but now we fly on turkish airlines when we go to uzbekistan because my parents cant afford to fly on uzbekistan airways

Uzbekistan has always been a fascinating airline to me also. Always wanted to see a proper review of them, amazing job man! The 787 looks much better than the old 767βs they used to fly, that too giving them a nonstop service to JFK over the stopover they used to do in Riga!
