🥒ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.
I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.
Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

Iran looks like a really interesting country to visit, one day, the food looks great.
So crowded and not hygienic at all. Will never eat in those places
"Meat juice" is a weird translation. In Persian, "ab" is "water." "Goosht" is meat, but when used like this it means "broth." So a better translation is "meat broth." The woman you were speaking with even called it "meat broth" in English. And the abgoosht most familiar to most Iranians is some kind of meat and bean stew, not some of the stuff you've been calling "abgoosht" (like the juices squeezed out of goat brains).
Sonny, Love your videos !!! As an American, what type of hoops do you need to walk / film in Iran ? I saw the issues that you had in egypt, and they were kinda shakey… I couldn't imagine how I'd feel walking in a Country where I as an American wasn't welcomed, nonetheless trying different fares, not knowing how my stomache would cope.. Thanx.. Hope all is well !!!
Oh my God, I realy miss my country and city Tehran. Thanx for this video. I live almost 27 years in Europe and havnt been in Iran for almost 12 years. Thank you.
latest news ; we don't have instagram now
i was shocked to realise how some iranian dishes are very similar to moroccan ones like the beans one with meat and tomato sauce
Here's a great story. During the reign of Reza Shaha, he would travel the country on horseback or carriage. He noticed a huge line up for a break maker. He asked everyone what was happening, and they replied that they need bread and that there isn't enough. So Reza Shah went to the bread maker and said, "why do we have a bread shortage when we produce so much wheat? I'll give you until tomorrow to serve every single person and with bread until the line is gone, or I'll throw you in the fire pit." The next day Reza Shah returned and there was still a line up, so he threw the bread maker in the fire pit. He told the next bread maker he would do the same unless everyone was served with bread and the line up was gone tomorrow. He returned the next day and noticed the line up was not only gone, but there was bread stacked high infront of the bread shop. This is why people respected him and he was able to industrialize Iran in 20 years. May he rest in peace and that one day we have a strong leader like him again.
Now i see its all lies and misunderstanding iranians are warm and hospitable people hope they open up their country and minds more so we can see its real beauty

as an Iranian who lives in Shiraz I used to see a lot of foreigners coming to visit "Hafezieh" or "Eram Garden" and the first thing that I would've do was to tell them how beautiful they are and wishing them a happy time there.. idk what makes you think that we are dangerous but It's not true :)) sending love from iran to all my brothers and sisters 💖💖💖💖💖
you said you Don't waste food…and i believed you..but why you lie to us.
Persian cuisine doesn't disappoint. Succulent and colorful. It's interesting that some dishes in Kuwait are similar to the ones I saw in the series. "Abgoosht" is close to "tashreeb / tashreeba" although I believe that the preparation method is quite different.
Beautiful people 😍
Go ameerica
