I miss Hmong town
MSG is for umami, not savory. Like o to other glutamines and umami . It's own flavor. It enhances all flavors. Plus there is no such thing as MSG allergies because it's natural and your brain requires Glutamines to function. Glutamates and glutamines are high in natural things like tomatoes and cheeses have them. Anyone with a real food allergy is not because of MSG but too much of a good thing can effect anyone differently but you're not allergic or your own brain would text itself and humans don't function, like I said, without a brain and "glutes".
Almost like "glutens" (totally different thing) in wheats. Pretty much non existent. All a scheme to make money. The doctor that "discovered gluten allergies" even said it was made up. People do have Celiac Disease or disorders, totally different things.

most of hmong foods is just learned from other asian countries, particularly anywhere hmong were shoved into. for example, commonly vietnam, thailand and laos

Oh man this looks sooo good, I haven't had Hmong food in a long time. I'm Hmong myself but I don't haven't live near Hmong people in a long time. Been by myself in San Diego, and then I moved to Mexico for a while and married my Mexican wife. I always want her to try some real Hmong food and especially the hot sauce. As the Mexican hot sauce just isn't spicy enough and tasty. Makes my mouth water as I want some traditional Hmong food, and for my wife and kids to try it too.
