We keep up the boat work – cleaning, testing out the system, setting up the sails- and go for a quick sail on our neighbor’s boat. It was nice to see a few spots where we’ll be sailing to on our own soon!

Nice update Guys ;-)! TY!!
Work on the camera it’s too shaky it’s almost makes you sick I’m keeping watching
heres a scret from an old truck driver, add 1/4 cup 2 stroke engine oil to how ever may gallons of diesel fuel u pack, run engine for 20mins. and hear the difference, couple 3 times a year is good.,ps great show and especially since your canadians.
Watching again… you two really are so watchable. I am no sailor, far from it in fact, but I have been totally enthralled by all your videos. I am tempted to send you a gift from Wales to have on your boat. Just because…
Hi great job, here in the uk we use a silicon that goes of in water called fernox Ls x leak sealant, guess you must have a similar product, its ideal for adding to joints.
I consider Nova Scotia as beautiful a place as I know of! Admittedly cool but beautiful!!! Awesome job!!!
even better is electrical propulsion.
nice
And your patience and perseverance paid out ;-)) Again
Reminds me of getting my fish boat ready each year.
nice work
Super impressed with what you were able to accomplish in a few months. Taking me much longer. Congrats!
If you line your entire engine compartment with Dynamat…it will dampen much of that engine noise. PEACE OUT

Well just think, better to be working on the head now than after it been used and full of "princess poo" then doing head work, and that will come also. Always a silver lining if one looks for it.
I just found you guy's and I'm loving what I'm seeing. I did see something I found a little distressing. Anything that allows seawater into the people tank of the boat needs to be done absolutely correct. Hard plastic non marine fittings are very dangerous below the waterline. They will become brittle and crack. Never crimp in these areas. Also ABYC dictates that any seawater fitting and hose connections that are subject to sea pressure must be double hose clamped. If your boat god forbid sinks your insurance may not pay if they find these fittings and lack of double clamps.
I can't get enough of these DIY sailboat videos. You guys make a great team, keep up the good work.
It's funny how "finishing touches" often seem to take weeks; the nature of boats and replacement parts sometimes it would seem. Looks like you are close!
I think you used the same yucky water piping that we did. That white pipe. I have bad news, if it is indeed the same kind. That stuff permeates smell really quickly. Maybe you'll have better luck. Hopefully!
Congrats on your progress. It's a lot of work. After six years, my H34 "Cygnus" is getting new head hoses this week. Your video on heating fittings and changes helped.Thanks.
One of my fave sailing channels! Awesome couple and loooove the dry humor. Looking forward to the next vid!
Did you ever think you would have so many little things to fix when you first got this boat? Any new-to-you boat will give you the same headaches, so feel confident that with each fix you are adding to your knowledge! You two seem to work very well together and that, my friend , is half the battle!
