Urban Exploration: Former military base turned into Soviet ghost town (English and German subtitles are available!) Episode #149Constructed by the Nazis, this former military area near Berlin is a ghost town today. Back then, this was a restricted zone, and soldiers made sure no civilian came near the place. And today? Still a restricted zone. But at least you will not get shot anymore if you try to enter the area. Planned by the Kaiser, greatly extended by the Nazis and mostly used by the Red Army this military area was home to soldiers from three different empires. When the last units moved out 25 years ago, they left behind deserted buildings everywhere. Although the Soviet army was taking everything with them, there are still traces that remind you of the everyday life behind the Iron Curtain. Join this exploration to see what is left of what used to be the biggest military training area in the country. #urbex #abandonedplaces #bwturbexCheck out urbex photography by @tobi_urbex ► https://www.instagram.com/tobi_urbex/ __________________________________________________► Support us on Patreon to help us create more videos: https://www.patreon.com/bwturbexJoin our adventures! ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bwturbex ► Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bwturbex ► Shop: https://www.bwturbex.com ► Email: info@bwturbex.com @bwturbex __________________________________________________Music: “Arcade” – Osoku “Sense of Betrayal” – Experia “Grieving Volcano” – Dew Of Light “State of Play” – Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen “New Elegy” – Maree Docia “Jeanne in a Waltz” – Leimoti “Natural Ghost” – Jay Varton “Awash” – Gavin Luke “Soft Rains” – Anders Schill Paulsen __________________________________________________More urbex videos (playlists): ► Abandoned Places in the Alps (Urbex Road Trip Series 2020):

"When the last units moved out 20 years ago."
This place was still in use in 1995?!?
Someone really needs to lock you up for all your trespassing. It’s both illegal and dangerous.
If walls could talk what horrors will they reveal! If the Nazis were not so cruel just think of what they could have accomplished! Great architecture and engineering and even a place for exercise! Should it be torn down or repurposed!?
Thank you. This needs to not be forgotten.
Amazing video AND such a nice sound studio!!!…hahahaha….works great!!
Curious . . . Did anyone of you have experience producing theses these episodes or was it learn as you go? Be safe .
Very interesting. Thank you
Good video, good job…Watch here in Brazil. Thank you…
Bro I just found this channel and holy shit it’s good. A perfect mix of history and mystery💪🏼
Amazing! This was awe-inspiring. Great job.
Před vámi tam bylo asi 1000 lidí
Best urbex channel, full stop.
This location in South Africa? If so my grandfather told me about a place that looks similar down there and he was told it was one of hitlers southern bases. Grandfather was an air force pilot and flew an ambassador around Africa for years. His mission when not flying the ambassador was to do reconnaissance and take photos of the surrounding area
Very good production, nice b-rolls, good edit! While this seems very eerie, I wonder if the future will create a new wave of urbex video channels as history rhymes at the moment like nobodies business.
I had no idea that any Nazi buildings still existed in Germany. Great explore. Thank you.
Russia helped Jews but Jews left Russia for Israel 😂. whatever russian did kicked back similar in afganistan
Symmetry and big columns are great.
great vid, govt should turn this munificent building into school or uni
Beautiful architecture…..I do think the Nazi party had some higher knowledge
Thank you for sharing. I remember listening to the old people when I was a child. The some happy.. many very sad and scary if those times. I wish now that I would of wrote them down.
I love your videos but the waste associated with these abandoned places is depressing!
So nice to watch these videos and not the other kinds of Urbex channels, saying "yo this was like a really important place cause like these buildings are like big and what not"
Keep up the great work!
you are my new squatters survival guidebook
danke schon – really enjoyed this – you guys really go the extra mile – thanks!
I can see from your eyes that you are nearly cry ,,war is such a horrible experience and shld not happen again in our lifetime,GOD shld be our judge and not humans, thanks for the videos, new found brilliant explorers♥️✌️
Why isn't Germany taking care of these buildings and bunkers its foolishness when talking in consideration of WW1 WW2 wars being fought there and never say never and the way they just don't talk about it history imo it will repeat itself Why were Russia and USA allowed to take anything out is another thing that wasn't very smart either I hope that the world would just stop having wars IMO
History was always so boring… Now what you guy's are doing makes me and my children actually interested in history. Thank you guy's for all that you do.♥️✌️
Good thing I came across your channel. Now, I have a glimpse of Nazi's building. Thank you foe this.
Nazi and the Communist are bad hate groups!
The background info & the filming skills are really really good! 👌🏽 Keep it up!
Wow, the intelligent narration coupled with the cinematography and sweeping shots is just delightful. Honestly, one of the best Urbex channels on YouTube. You guys deserve much success!
8:53 the semi-circular building is meant to resemble the adler (eagle) similar in style to Templehof.
Love your channel and its so true we must learn from our past or we are doomed to repeat it. We should not bury it or remove it or it cant remind us.
I love your voice.
Have you seen the abandoned castle near Szigliget, Hungary? Another former military area but not ruins is just south of Heidelber-Mannheim west side of autobahn 5 at the exit to Speyer (former US military residences). Other non-military ruins clearly visible from 7000years ago (now about 2m below surface of Bodensee at Uberlingen. Have you covered the Maginot-line buker system, the Odessa(Crimea) bunker-system, or Strij airport, Ukraine /where SSSR stationed its bombers for nuking NATO? Let me give a comment:You said at Jüterborg and KZ-murals /where probably Putin would know every stone/- "we hope it will not repeat itself"… Well it is doing that as we speak.
love your videos!
Your videos are some of the few that cause me to feel disappointment when I realize they’re coming to an end. I want them to be longer bc they’re so good. Keep up the great work!!
Thankyou for all the videos around Europe. Your very informative with all these historical locations
