Gatsby Spearman was hot and heavy with Maia Ocampo during high school. Something happened and he her and didn’t tell her why . Just a clean break. Maia always wanted to know why he left her and didn’t tell her why Gatsby lost his father and had to take care of his mother and his sister and brother. So 14 go by they see each other Maia has a list of what she will do to him. All Gatsby feels is how he loved her his little blue. Gatsby wasn’t aware she held a grudge from their time in high school. . When he finds out several things happen . You have to read the story and see what going on.

He’s no great Gatsby. But he is Gatsby, who ghosted Maia after they were in a relationship in college. He done her wrong and she’s rightfully held a grudge. I had a harder time getting on board with Gatsby, as he did zero groveling, zero explanations, nothing and they were right back at it. Still, it’s a Claudia book, so you get the all the range of emotions. Recommend.

Claudia continues to give us amazing books! Can’t Help Love is the second book in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series. The Spearman Family is one of my favorites…they don’t hold back! This second chance, enemies to lovers, billionaire story will keep you entertained and you will not want to put the book down. Gatsby and Maia meet during college, make many promises and plans, however life gets in the way. There is so much anger, hurt and misunderstandings in the way that both of them have lost focus. Maia is on a revenge mission and Gatsby is totally clueless. Claudia takes us on an angst, sassy, steamy journey filled with so much sexual tension that your ereader may explode. Lol This is a great addition to the series and I highly recommend. I received a complimentary copy and I am leaving my honest review/.

I absolutely loved Can’t Help Love by Claudia Burgoa; it is an incredible second chance at first love story. It is the second book in her Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Claudia Burgoa showed that she is an amazing storyteller and has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Can’t Help Love, they feel like family! Can’t Help Love filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Claudia Burgoa always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy men. I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Can’t Help Love is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in Claudia Burgoa love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Gatsby kidnaps her with her own car and drives her home. I love what Maia did to Gatsby’s car to retaliate. As they spend more time together, things begin to change between them. They share secrets that they have not revealed to each other before. I love the chemistry between Maia and Gatsby. I love that both Maia and Gatsby were both so vulnerable and that each of them changes because of their love for one another. I love how they share things that they have never shared before, especially the secrets that Maia shares regarding her relationship with her mother, and the actions that Maia take to improve her relationship with her family. I love all the things that Gatsby has secretly done for Maia but was not able to reveal since she would not meet with him. I love how everything gets so beautifully resolved between them. My favorite parts are the letters between Gatsby and Maia, and Gatsby’s five step plan to woo Maia. I also love how the epilogue went above and beyond a happily ever after. I loved Gatsby’s proposal, and how it did not go according to his original plan. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Can’t Help Love, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Spearman family, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Spearman siblings especially their teasing that made me laugh. I loved all the characters in Can’t Help Love, and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Can’t Help Love, who does not love a second chance at first love story? Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

I am obsessed with the new Spearmans. They are way less angsty than any other CB series. This family is so interesting. With every sibling, I imagine that there will be so much revealed about their shared life experiences and how it made them who they are today. I'm not sure how any of them will top how unbelievably amazing I thought Gatsby was though. He's sweet, protective, and so much more swoon than I was expecting. Maia is a fierce boss who is dominating all the things. Seeing their relationship from each other's perspectives definitely made me think twice about how I felt about each of them. I loved these two and I can't wait to learn even more about the new Spearmans.

I just can’t help but LOVE this book!! Can’t Help Love is the second book in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series and it’s cleverly written with a beautiful, fun and hilarious storyline. The Spearman family has solidified themselves as one of my favorite fictional families and Gatsby Spearman is such a charming and delicious devil. Gatsby and Maia’s relationship starts off great as they were college sweethearts and madly in love with each other until Gatsby ghosts Maia. After this devastating loss, Maia pulls herself together and being the strong and brilliant woman that she is, she creates an empire and sets the tech world on fire. Maia also puts a plan in motion to seek vengeance against Gatsby who happens to be her biggest rival in the tech world. And when these two collide, this is were the real fun begins. Maia is feisty, she holds nothing back and while Gatsby may be clueless as to why Maia is so angry with him, it’s more than obvious that he’s still 100% in love with her. And she’s still in love with him. Fourteen years later, their lovers to enemies to lovers’s connection, chemistry and love has never died. The humor, romance, banter, steam, sexual tension and passionate sex is absolutely everything! Claudia Burgoa does a fantastic job with Gatsby and Maia’s characters as they are realistic, genuine and flawed characters with issues that we can all relate to. The storyline is engaging, full of depth and binge worthy with an excellent blend of emotional and tender moments. Can’t Help Love is a book that’s definitely worth reading!

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is Gatsby Spearman's story and it is a second chance , enemies to lovers, and a revenge plot. This is book 2 in the series but it easily stands alone. This story starts 14 years before and we meet Gatsby when he is in college, age 20 and deeply in love with his girl friend that he calls Little Blue but who goes by the name as Maia. In the past he hears his father is dead and he takes off to be with his family. Maia never hears from him until some 14 years later which takes us to the present. Gatz and Maia in the present are enemies and are in the same business. She is after destroying his business and is constantly coming between his business deals and so he decides a confrontation is needed and thats when this story get fun and very, very interesting. Maia is one spitfire and she is royally mad at Gatsby. I LOVED what she did to his car. This book made me laugh and it also brought tears to my eyes. My heart hurt for Maia's pain and Gatsby's pain as well. The author writes so well that she really brought Maia's character and Gatsby's to life. You can tell how much she loved these characters. I really liked that Maia's pain is so real that it is not an easy fix and she really makes Gatz work hard for her forgiveness and her heart. And I loved that Gatz understands what he did some years before and realize what he gave up. This was such an awesome story. I cannot tell you how much I adored this story and at times it was a tear jerker but I also laughed at some of the scenes.
